The Lunar Chinese new year of 2023 is more close to Solar new year,It is the earliest Spring Festival holiday. It was Solar Jan 22 for the lunar new year in 2023,while it was solar Feb 1 in 2022 and Feb 12 in 2021, and after a block-up for about 3 years due to COIVD-19, Many front-line works were eager to get back to hometown-to reunite with family members and have a good time with friends that have not met for years,So many manufacturers closed earlier (some even closed on Jan 1–Solar calendar) for the Chinese New Year Holiday.
As a well-established manufacturer of E cigarette(or E cig for abbr, or vape),Shenzhen Pluto has been focusing more on CBD/THC device,such as 510 batteries,disposable cbd pod,cbd cartridges,hydro bubblers; that means there is no need to staff as many workers as e-juice factories.Considering the eagerness of getting back to hometown,management in Pluto had been open to let the workers leave factory earlier before CNY, either through asking for leave(earlier than the factory closure),or closed the factory much earlier(we closed office on Jan 16,and factory was closed 1 week earlier).Such humanized arrangement made both sides happier,and brought favorable premises for the quick and full staffing this year after CNY.
Most Factories can’t reach full production capacity until 1 week after lunar Jan 15(the lantern festival) because of workforce shortage.While all the old employees appreciated the humanized arrangement,they more than returning to factory very only–they recommended our factory to their friends and relatives. That’s the reason that we are able to enjoy the achievement of full staffing when others are striving for more workforce.What’s more,because all the front-line workers have had a happy holiday,they have high spirits and engagement in work.Good opening will be the half of success,we have had the good opening now–at least at staffing.
